Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share with all of you today! Drum roll please…………we will be performing at the Hard Rock Entertainment Stages during CMA Fest 2012!!! We’re so excited to finally get to perform during CMA Fest. We will be performing on FRIDAY, JUNE 8^th from 12:15-12:30pm so come on out to see us. Spread the word and bring all of your friends!

We played at Bobby Pinson’s Sing for Your Supper at Blue Bar for the first time last night. It was fun! Got to see some of our friends out, including some we haven’t seen in a while. Today we wrote with Kimberly June for the first time and we got a cool new song from it. It’s like a funky, old-school-country type of song. Pretty cool stuff. And tonight we went to our brother Billy’s tennis banquet. The 3 of us big sisters baked 150 mini cupcakes yesterday for the banquet and dyed the icing tennis ball green. Needless to say, we have a lot of leftovers haha. But it was nice to hear the good things his coach had to say about him, and he even lettered in tennis! This was his first year playing. We are proud big sisters Awesome job, Billy!

We made a new video that we posted earlier this week of our time in the studio working on overdubs. If you haven’t checked it out yet, head on over to the “videos” tab to see. Getting dizzy in the studio

Hello world! I am writing you from the studio today. We are overdubbing instruments for our record today!! We got up early this morning, ate breakfast, made some tea, sent Mother’s Day cards out, took the pup outside, then headed downtown to our engineer’s studio. Last time we brought cupcakes, this time we brought candy. Jeff and our engineer, Chip, always know that they can count on us for sweets! Haha One of us has always got something in our purses. The record is getting really close! We’re almost finished with vocals. We’re having so much fun doing this. Chip and Jeff like to pick on us three, and our manager, Casey, but all in fun. Of course we get them right back with a quick comeback! Haha. We feel so lucky to be working with these guys!

For those of you that live in town, we’re playing downtown Nashville at the National Underground this Saturday night at 9pm! Full band show! Come hang out with us! It’s going to be a fun time Well…it’s about time for some coffee! To all the mom’s…Hope you all have a lovely Mother’s Day! See ya

Sitting here on the couch watching “the sandlot” right now. I love this movie! My sisters and I can quote pretty much the entire movie haha It feels good to just sit back and relax tonight. It feels like we’ve been busy a lot lately! Amy and I turned 25 on April 20th! We can rent cars now, yes!! It was a great birthday. Then on saturday night we were asked to sing the “Tennessee Waltz” at the Tennessee Waltz Gala…what an honor that was! A little nerve wracking singing in front of the Governor of Tennessee…but he came up to us afterwards and told us how much he enjoyed our version of the “Tennessee Waltz”. It was definitely a night we won’t forget. Before we went on stage we were hanging out in the senate chambers…pretty cool in there. We didn’t make too much of a mess in there just kidding. This past weekend, we went downtown Nashville to cheer on our mom and her friends at the music city marathon! The weather was gorgeous. It was a sight to see. That was my first time going to watch a marathon…really inspiring seeing all of those people running for a great cause. It made me want to do a race sometime…just not a half marathon! maybe a 5k haha Last night we played a songwriter round for the Brentwood YMCA at Pucketts in downtown Nashville..what a cool event! Us and Jeffrey played together..he played with us on our songs and we sang with him on his songs. Definitely awesome!!! Had a blast doing that..wouldn’t mind doing that more often.

Welp, it’s getting a little late for this girl. Gotta write tomorrow! If any of you are in town on Wednesday night (May 2nd), we’ll be at the National Underground at 9pm or if any of you wanna make a trip to see us play, we’re playing May 12th there as well AND that’s is a Saturday night!! So ya know maybe you can come? Love you guys.

Pearl Heart to Perform “The Tennessee Waltz”

Pearl Heart has been asked to perform “The Tennessee Waltz” this Saturday evening for the 20th anniversary gala “A Tennessee Waltz”, created by the Tennessee State Museum Foundation, and hosted by Governor Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam. Originally from St. Louis, sisters Amy, Angela, and Courtney of Pearl Heart have called Tennessee home for the last five years. They couldn’t be more honored to be a part of such an important evening in Nashville and look forward to performing such an iconic song for Governor Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam as well as the Tennessee State Museum Foundation and everyone else involved in the event!

Hey guys! We just got back from a trip to St. Louis. Friday we went downtown STL to celebrate Cardinals Opening Day! It is almost considered a holiday for some of our family members! Haha. It was a little chilly, and it rained, but we still had a blast! Our Uncle Ken was barbecuing for everyone, even in the rain! It was awesome. It was nice hanging out with our family because it had been since Christmas since we’d seen everyone. We got back to Nashville last night, and got right back to work today. Angela and I sang backround vocals on a song, then Court sang lead vocals on a new song called “Shoo Dog Shoo”. This is a really fun song! Cannot wait for you guys to hear it! We’ll be back at it tomorrow, and Friday we are adding more instruments to the songs. I LOVE hearing the songs we’ve written come to life There is nothing like it!

Time to watch some “Friends” before bed time. Goodnight!
