Remember there is no cover for these shows at The National Underground some come down and hear some great music! (thanks Randy.  They’re almost gone! haha.)  Once we got back to Nashville, we went right back to work!  We had a photo shoot with the wonderful photographer, Anthony Scarlati.  The pictures turned out great. We can’t wait for you guys to see them!  A big thanks to Lunatic Fringe salon for helping us with hair and makeup!  You guys are awesome.

We’ve gotten some killer new songs that we’re super excited about!  We’re going to be heading back into the studio to track a few more for the record.  Speaking of which…is coming along quite well.  We’ve been working on it like crazy, and we are so ready to show you guys!!!  Soon!  We took January off from playing the National Underground, but we’ll be back there in February and March.  Be sure to check the calendar for dates and times.

Pearl Heart will be back at the 30A Songwriter Festival January 13 – 15th!  This three-day music festival features more than 125 songwriters and over 250 performances in venues ranging from intimate listening rooms to spacious outdoor amphitheaters amid a backdrop of brilliant white sand beaches and turquoise waters along South Walton’s Scenic Highway 30A in Northwest Florida.  They are currently offering an early bird ticket discount thru December 15th, after that prices increase.  Tickets & more info!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday! I know we did. We went home to St. Louis to spend it with all of our family. Got to eat lots of good food at Grandma’s house with our mom’s side of the family, and went out to one of our favorite pizza places for thanksgiving dinner with our dad’s side of the family!

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, we are back in Nashville and in full Christmas mode! Our house is decorated, gifts are being bought, and the tree is finally bought and decorated! All three of us were under the weather recently, but we are all on the mend now. We’ve been writing a lot for the album and have been getting some pretty cool new songs out of those sessions. Can’t wait for you guys to hear them!

I also want to tell everyone that we are playing at the National Underground – Nashville on Thursdays from 9-9:45 this December, so come out to see us!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season! Now, I leave you with a little piece of a past Christmas memory of ours from 1994 :)

Hello November! Man time sure does fly. It’s hard to believe this year is almost over. October was a busy month for us! First, our little brother Billy (well not so little anymore) turned 17! He’s making me feel old! HA! We played a show at Pucketts in Leipers Fork which was so awesome. We had a good crowd come out. Our Aunt Jane and Grandma Gen came all the way from St. Louis to see us!  That same weekend we got to play at A Vintage Affair event at a grape stomp.  It was our first time ever stomping grapes. It felt really weird between the toes haha.  The next weekend Amy and I were bridesmaids in one of our best friends’ (Kelly) wedding. Kelly had come to visit us up in Niagara Falls back in May and we talked about surprising Mike (husband) with “Wild Angels” by Martina Mcbride at their reception. We kept it a secret the whole time. So when we played it at the wedding reception, he was so happy! Definitely saw some tears haha.  It was awesome.  This past Saturday we played Musicians Corner in Centennial Park. It was the perfect day for it. Sun shine and not too cold.  People came out with their dogs and blankets and just hung out. We haven’t had a full band gig in awhile so it was really fun to have the guys back on stage with us. Pardon my language, but we kicked some ass! Last night was Halloween as all of you know, and all 3 of us girls decided last minute to dress up as dudes for our gig at the National Underground. One word: mustache. It was ridiculous :) Speaking of the national underground, we play there every monday night (except next monday the 7th) so if you’re not busy, we’d love to see you! All of the shows and times are posted on here. Okay…I just got back from the gym and now I am starving. I think it’s time to eat! I hope everyone has a glorious day :)
