Family and Music, two of the most important and influential elements for the trio Pearl Heart, comprised of sisters Amy, Angela, and Courtney Krechel. The three sisters, who have been performing together for 13 years, are originally from St. Louis, MO. Their bone-chilling blend of sibling harmonies, combined with stellar musical talents, and honest lyrics make Pearl Heart a force to be reckoned with. All three sisters sing and play instruments ranging from acoustic and electric guitars to 12-strings, mandolin’s and piano’s. Stemming from a musical family the girls grew up inspired by everything from the Eagles to the Hymns they would sing in Church, and the heart of those sounds are reflected in their music today. In 2006 the girls moved to Nashville, TN to actively pursue a musical career. The stars aligned for them in the summer of 2008 when they met award-winning Songwriter Jeffrey Steele. With his role as producer and songwriting partner, Steele took the trio under his wing and they began work on their debut release. What has emerged from the pairing is a stripped-down fresh organic sound, with powerful lyrics and vocals to boot.

4. What is your biggest vice? Sweets. I eat too many sweets.
5. What is one thing that would surprise people about you? I’m a super picky eater!
Amy
1. What is your favorite meal? My mom’s spaghetti and meatballs!
2. What did you do with your first payday as an artist? Saved it! I’m a saver. Framed our first dollar.
3. What can’t you live without? Coffee, and my guitar.
4. When you aren’t performing, writing, or working in the studio where could we find you? Target! or Panera Bread…or in the summer, the pool!
5. What is one thing that would surprise people about you? I love history. Any kind of it. I love to watch the History Channel!
Angela
1. What is your favorite part about performing? I love performing/having fun with my sisters on stage. Also love when we play a certain song and I just get lost in it.
2. What’s your favorite late night snack? I usually don’t eat at night, but if I do, I love love love popcorn!
3. What is your biggest vice? COFFEE!
4. When you aren’t performing, writing, or working in the studio where could we find you? Target, Starbucks, Panera, or St. Louis! Haha.
5. What is one thing that would surprise people about you? I am absolutely terrified of flying. I work myself up before every flight!
